Willow Design Series

For this design series, I was inspired by the beauty of the willow and rendered a loose interpretation of catkin clusters. The catkins appear long before the leaves and are one of the earliest signs of spring. The highly polished edges add a beautiful contrast to the carved and textured forms. This collection distills and reinterprets an elegant gesture found in nature - celebrating new growth, rebirth, and change.
