- features verdigris patina on the interior
- earrings hang from gold-fill ear wires
This series is inspired by Isamu Noguchi’s 1986 sculpture, Slide Mantra. His lyrical sculpture functions as a slide with steps winding up the back which descend into a beautiful spiral.
The sculptural Slide Earrings explore spiraling shells and lily spathe forms. The exterior has a subtle texture while the edges have a bright, high-polished finish. The recessed area features a lovely patina that varies from golden brown to green. When the earrings move, the light dances between the contrasting colors and textures. Each pair is unique, dramatic, and sure to get noticed.
